While The Olympian is unique for its architectural integrity and its prime downtown location, a few features make it stand out from any other property in town. These large and spacious units average more than 1,600 square feet in size, with balconies overlooking the Yampa River and Howelsen Hill. The Olympian features mountain contemporary interiors, including granite slab counters, stainless steel appliances and exposed timber. The exterior combines brick and stone elements. There is a common inner courtyard for a quick retreat or you can cross the street for a relaxing stroll next to the Yampa River. The main floors feature a Great Room with vaulted ceilings, wide-plank rustic wood flooring, and an oversized stone fireplace. The open floor plan connects the living area to the gourmet kitchen and dining area. Master bedrooms have a gas fireplace and private access to the covered balcony. On the mid-level, the bunkrooms can be converted into two smaller bedrooms allowing for flexibility. The fully equipped kitchen makes entertaining at home a cinch. For meals together there is seating for 6 at the dining room table and an additional 3 at the kitchen bar. Both bedrooms offer private bathrooms. The master offers a King bed with fireplace. The second bedroom offers two full bunk beds. Edgemont's on-site amenities include a fabulous heated outdoor pool and hot tub with great views down the mountain. The outdoor fire pit is a natural gathering place and kids will delight here in s'mores and hot chocolate. Ski access could not be much easier with a slope side ski locker room. Here you can dry off and conveniently store your equipment in your private ski locker with enclosed boot warmer. If you need to push yourself a little more, there is exercise equipment onsite.
