The original 1882 building infamously became the Spritzer Bar, a saloon bought by Martin Spritzer in 1924 and operated by Slovenian immigrants. A custom-designed snowcat picks guests up each morning and drops them at 1,000+ acres of exclusive ski terrain in nearby Irwin, home to cold-smoke powder, alpine bowls, and tight tree runs.
