We came out to ski with our two 6 year old grandsons for a long weekend. We wanted to be close to everything so we booked at the Springs Lodge at River Run. Perfect location for us! It does say ski in ski out which is not exactly that.... but it's as close as any of the condo buildings are. It's just a walk across the parking lot and you are at the base of River Run gondola and Ski Ride Ski School. The Springs has an outdoor pool and two hot tubs. Also there is a fire pit! It's very nice the kids spent hours after skiing out there!!!! The Springs is also a short walk into Keystone Village where you shop, eat and enjoy some of the other activities available for adults and kids. We really liked the underground parking there too! The Bedroom and bathrooms are a nice size/ the living, entry and kitchen areas are a bit small there was also a nice deck overlooking the pool and the mountain. Soundproofing is maybe not so good, but everyone in the building was considerate after 10 PM and quieted down. We would definately return to the Springs again.

ELEVATORS!!!!!
The elevators were not working throughout our stay here!!! Our unit was on the 5th floor. The elevator only got us to the 4th floor. I was with my kids and I (being physically incapacitated ) had to lug up my luggage with my kids up two flights of stairs. When we got there, there was not only the elevator mechanics but also some of the maintenance crew of the building. Even after seeing that I was with two young boys and 4 suitcases was offered no assistance. The unit was not updated but was cozy enough. The heater was not working well and neither was the fireplace. But the location was perfect.
